Soccer, tennis and, of course, basketball are the top draws on today's calendar.
The Badger netters were up early for tournament play in Georgetown..they start hitting at 8 a.m.
On the soccer pitch, while the Lady Badgers have a 6 p.m. home match with Austin McCallum, all the
other sides are playing tournaments. The Badger boys will compete in the Salado tourney, while Copperas Cove's girls play in the Longview Lobo Invitational and the Bulldawg boys start pool play at 12pm in the Wichita Falls Winter Cup.
Tonight's basketball pairings have both Badger squads at Liberty Hill in a District 25-3A radio doubleheader, starting with the girls game at 6:30pm. It'll be live on Lampasasradio.com and 1450, KCYL.
Lometa is home in District 28-A action, with the league-leading Hornet boys facing second-place Eden at 8pm. The girls game tips off at 6:30pm.Copperas Cove and Bryan will square off in District 12-5A with the girls home and the boys traveling. Varsity play goes at 7pm.
