At Friday’s sale, 2,906 head came through the ring, 1,780 more than last week and 763 more than last year. Light slaughter lambs were $10-$15 lower, heavyweight lambs were $15-$20 higher, and slaughter kids were $10-$15 lower.

Dorper Ewes 90-110lbs brought $63-$86/cwt and pairs brought $35-$68 per head. Barbados ewes 70-90lbs brought $55-$71/cwt and pairs brought $25-$33 pear head. Stock bucks brought $135-$225 per head.

Slaughter lambs prime 90-115lbs brought $135-$149/cwt. Choice 100-140lbs brought $90-$115/cwt and 40-85lbs brought $160-$196/cwt. Utility ewes 100-170lbs brought $57-$72/cwt. 

Barbados Lambs 40-80lbs brought $121-$160/cwt. Ewes 60-80lbs brought $55-$70/cwt. Bucks 90-120lbs were $60-$70/cwt.

Slaughter kids 25-45lbs brought $160-$186/cwt, 45-60lbs brought $180-$207/cwt and 60-80lbs brought $176-$209/cwt. Nannies 80-140lbs brought $65-$89/cwt. Billies 90-200lbs brought $90-$109/cwt. Muttons 80-110lbs brought $120-$140/cwt.

Replacement nannies 80-120lbs brought $71-$86/cwt and pairs brought $42-$68/cwt. Billies 100lbs brought $130/cwt.
