Saints fans and the large number that were “rooting for the underdog” were cheering in living rooms and places like the Roundup Sports Bar in Lampasas last night. It was a close game, with ups and downs—literally and figuratively—but in the end it was the New Orleans Saints fans that had the big street celebration.

Whether it went your way in the Super Bowl or not, it was foggy and drizzly in Central Texas this morning. The drizzle yesterday and this morning brought from traces to a couple-tenths to rain gauges and it looks as if that will continue off and on for a while, then lay off until Wednesday and Thursday.
