The Lampasas FFA is sending a delegation of 22 FFA members, parents, and guests to the annual 81st Texas FFA State Convention held July 6th-10th at the Dallas Convention Center.

FFA members Reese Vann and Kelsie Ray will be recognized July 9th as recipients of scholarships. Lone Star Degree qualifiers Michael Fisher and James Lansford will have the highest degree that can be conferred by the Texas FFA Association, - the Lone Star FFA degree presented to them at a special awards ceremony held July 7th. 

FFA officers slated to attend include Jeyde Kelly, Kirby Kennedy, Kalyn Hayes, Mackenzie Martin, Paige Hensley, Jacqueline Hensley, and Blaire Stoneham. Greenhand FFA members who have met their greenhand requirements slated to participate include Blayze Bierschwale and Kleg Kennedy. The students and guests will attend business sessions, leadership workshops, participate in the career show and serve as voting delegates. Over 10,000 FFA members, advisors, and guests are expected to attend this annual event.
