Filling will get under way Monday for City Council and School Board seats in Lampasas, Kempner and Lometa. Filing for the seats will continue through March 5th.

In Lampasas the Council seats of Christian Toups, who was serving an unexpired part of Place 3; T.J. Monroe, Place 4; and Les Gerhart, Place 5 are open for filing.

For the Lampasas School Board the Place 1 seat of Ron Farr, Place 2 seat of Mark Bishop, and Place 3 seat of

 Dan Claussen are open for signup.

In Lometa’s City Council the seats are “at-large” and terms expiring are those of Mayor Cynthia Kirby, and the at large Council seats currently held by Betty Poe and Carlos Garcia.

In the Lometa School Board Election the at large seats up for election are currently held by Tommy Mattox and Xavier Alaniz.

In Kempner’s City Council race the Mayor Gene Isenhour seat and Place 1and 5 Council seats are up for election. Place 1 is held by Paul Cook and Place 5 is held by Melva Vandeveer.

Early voting will begin on May 1^st and regular Election Day will be May 12^th.
