Terry Gene Dyer, age 74 of Lometa died Tuesday January 25, at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Terry was born in 1937 in Gatesville. Terry served in the Air Force for 22 years, then worked at Randolph AFB in San Antonio for 23 years, retiring in 2005. Terry grew up in Lometa and graduated in 1957. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Lometa.

Terry is survived by 2 Daughters; Sherrie Castillo and husband Mark of Converse, and Melissa Adkinson and husband

James Charles II of LaVernia, 3 Grandchildren, 2 Brothers, Gerald Dyer of Converse, and Ivan Earl (Skeek) Dyer of Rosenburg.

Funeral services with full military honors will be held Saturday January 28, at 2pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas. Visitation will be today, from 5-8pm at Sneed Funeral Chapel. Terry’s body will be cremated following the service.
