A man is in custody after he led several law enforcement agencies on a chase through three counties.
It started early Friday afternoon in Buckholts. A police officer tried to stop a motorcycle for a traffic violation, but the motorcycle didn't stop.
Other law enforcement agencies including the Texas Department of Public
Safety were involved in the chase in which speeds got up to as much as 140 miles per hour.
The chase went through Milam, Bell and Coryell counties before finally ending near Gatesville.
DPS Troopers say the motorcycle ran out of gas and the driver laid the motorcycle down on F.M. 929. There, he was apprehended.
The man wasn't identified, but troopers say he is being booked into the Coryell County Jail. The man did not have a valid Texas Driver's License.
