The Blotter

Lampasas Police Dept. blotter shows a busy Wednesday with five arrests, the first coming at 1:39am when a 44 yr old San Angelo man was arrested in the 100 block of Ohnmeiss for possession of PG1 drugs and driving with an invalid license. Suspicious activity was reported on Sunset Dr. at 1:54am, then at 6:50am a 17 yr old Kempner male was arrested in the 300 block of E 4th on a PD warrant for attempted burglary of a building. In the same incident an 18 yr old Lampasas male was also charged with the attempted burglary. Later, at 9:22am, a 19 yr old Lampasas female was arrested in the 200 block of E. 1st for DWI.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 700 block of Old Georgetown Rd at 9:31am and a suspicious person in the 400 block of S. Key at 9:41am. At 10:03am there was a theft report in the 200 block of N Walnut.

Yet another arrest came a few minutes after noon in the 1200 block of E. Ave. F. 25 yr old Desland Ray Wallace of Lampasas was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in a family violence incident.

The afternoon brought a reckless driver report on Ohnmeiss at 1:28pm and harassment was in the 1300 block of E. Ave. I and also on Hollywood Dr. at 4:23pm.

The evening brought a minor accident in the 1700 block of CTE at 7:04pm, then a domestic disturbance in the 500 block of N. Walnut at 10:31pm and a noise disturbance in the 600 block of N. Ridge at 11:25pm.

Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with a quiet day, Kempner had a couple of medical calls and out in the county the deputies went out on a criminal mischief call, an animal complaint, a civil matter and went into the Cove city limits on an alarm call.

The jail log shows the county arrested a 33 yr old Granite Shoals woman on an out of county charge and a 38 yr old Lampasas man for failure to appear.

The Burn Ban was lifted until 6pm on 3/18 – except on very windy days!
