Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Tuesday showed disturbances began in the morning hours, one in the 1000 block of mMills St. at 5:11am and on in the 1100 block of E. Ave F at 8:20am. Shortly after that at 8:31am at disorderly conduct was reported in the 1700 block of CTE. Later in the morning a suspicious person was reported in the 1400 block of S. Key at 9:57am.
The afternoon saw a disturbance at 12:33pm in the 200 block of W. Ave E, and a suspicious person reported in WM Brook Park at 12:57pm. In the 1100 block of E Ave F an assault was reported at 1:30pm. A call about a suspicious person was called in at 1:50pm in the 600 block of S. Key.
One minor accident was reported at 3:50pm in the 1700 block of CTE. A fraud report from the 800 block of N. Ridge came in at 5:15pm, then suspicious person reports were reported on S. Key one at 5:22 in the 900 block, and one at 5:45pm in the 700 block.
A theft was reported in the 100 block of W. North at 6:24pm, then later in the evening saw more suspicious person reports, One in the 1100 block of E. Ave H at 9:04 pm and one in the 700 block of S. Key at 10:49pm. Suspicious vehicles were reported in the 2700 block of S. 281 at 9:04pm and one in the 200 block of N. Key at 11:55pm.
The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa had another quiet day. Kempner responded to a call of threats and a civil matter.
Out in the county deputies attended to a wreck, responded to a shots fired call, and a civil matter. Deputied went in to Cove on a criminal mischief call, an animal bite and responded to an alarm.
The Jail Log showed the county detained a 53 year old Austin man on a failure to appear charge, and a 33 year old Killeen man on three capias pro fine charges.
The Burn Ban is lifted until Monday, March 18th at 6pm.
