Lampasas Co. Commissioners will meet on Monday at 9am in the lower floor of the courthouse for a regular session. On the agenda is the appointment of a local health authority, towing rules and regulations, the annual ambulance service report, the use of a county office space for the District 54 Representative, a finance agrrement with Bancorp South Eqpt. Finance, the donation of a 2013 patrol truck to the San Saba S.O., firework sales for July 4th, Bloomin’ Fest on the square and more.
Lampasas City Council will meet at 5:30pm Monday to discuss items, including the litigations with Kempner Water Supply Corp.,the Council’s work plan, the Nix Water Tank rehab and the Chamber of Commerce 1st Qtr. report. In regular session they’ll discuss or have public hearings on some zoning or property issues, set up the May Council and Local Option Election, discuss a Chamber if Cinnerce request for HOT funds to put on the annual Bloomin’ Fest event in April and other funding matters. One, costing $35,000, would install some 500 radio read water meters.
