The Blotter

Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Saturday showed an arrest at 8:09am as a 29 yr old Copperas Cove resident was picked up on two Lampasas PD warrants.

In the afternoon, there was a theft at 12:37 in the 300 block of N. Key, another theft was reported in the 1700 block of CTE at 8:52pm, then a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of N. Porter at 11:28pm. A loud music complaint came in from the 900 block of N. Key at 11:45pm.

The Sunday blotter showed an early morning report of a suspicious person in the 1000 block of W. 1st at 12:41am, and at 4:08pm, Frederick Delacruz Jr., 25 was arrested on Acorn St. for Assault Causing Bodily Injury.

Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa had a quiet weekend. Kempner responded to an alarm, went out on a suicidal call, worked a civil matter, cleared a wreck and investigated a theft.

Out in the county, deputies were sent out to settle a disturbance, took a report of a stolen vehicle and were sent to Copperas Cove to respond to an alarm.

The Jail log shows the county brought in a 20 year old Houston man for possession of a controlled substance, unlawfully carrying a weapon and possession of marijuana. At the same time, a 30 year old man, also from Houston was charged with possession of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a weapon.
