Lady Badgers Varsity(22-4/1-1) gave up the leadership role in District 27-4A last night to the Liberty Hill Lady Panthers after a 64-56 Panther victory in Badger Gym.

The outcome was a question mark into the last quarter as the Lady Badgers, trailing in scoring in the first half, 33-24, came back strong in the third period to take back the lead 44-41. But, it wasn’t to continue as the Lady Panthers came back in the 4th with a 23-12 outscore to take the game.

The Lady Panthers’ strength seemed to be in taking, and making, lots of 3 pointers. The Lady Badgers were strong under the net.
