Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Friday showed a suspicious person report in the 500 block of S. Pecan at 12:45am. In the afternoon, a harassment in the 1900 block of Hwy 281 S at 2:42pm and a disturbance at 3pm in the 1700 block of CTE. There was also a domestic disturbance on Castleberry St. at 5:23pm and a fraud report from the 2100 block of Rocky Mountain Dr. at 5:29pm.
The evening saw an arrest in the 100 block of E. Ave. F. Desland Ray Wallace, 25 of Lampasas, was picked up on a pardons and paroles warrant over a parole violation for fraudulent or illegal use of credit cards. That was at 7pm.
At 7:43pm there was an assault by threat report in the 200 block of CTE at 7:43pm and a fraud report in the 900 block of N. Key at 8:32pm.
The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa with a civil matter, Kempner had a harassment call, a report of illegal burning, and suspicious activity. Out in the county there were abandoned vehicles, a reckless driver, and a civil matter.
The Jail log shows a 40 yr old Lampasas man booked on a a commitment charge, a 54 yr old Lampasas resident detained on an out-of-county charge, and a 29 yr old Evant man arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Burn Ban is lifted until Monday, Jan 21st, at 6pm.
