Yesterday’s high 88° This morning’s low 72°
Only .04 in. of rain at the airport on Friday. So far in September the Lampasas airport has received 1.5 in.
Most area rainfall Thursday came around Goldthwaite with about ½ in. and west of there around Mullin an inch.
Today: Is the rain all over? No! Not according to our forecast. An 80% chance of rain today, with a high of just 85°, thanks to a light N-NW breeze.
Tonight: A 60% chance of more rain overnight, but any showers should play out by midnight as the rain systems begin to clear out. The low will get down to about 70° and the northerly breeze should only be about 5 mph.
Sunday: A 20% chance of rain early, otherwise still mostly cloudy with the temperature hanging at around 85° and the wind shifting to N-NE at 5-10 mph.
Overnight we should see lowest temperature for the last few months, dropping down to around 66° with the N-NE wind helping it along at 5-10 mph.
Next Week: A return to near normals on Monday with an afternoon high of 86° with no rain chances, a low of 67° overnight. But…is it coming back again?
On Tuesday a slight rain chance could come back again and that seems to be an off and on thing thru next week. Perhaps the biggest chance of rain, 30%, could show up late in the week or next weekend.
