The Blotter

Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Tuesday showed a suspicious activity in the 1200 block of Western at 2am, then an abandoned vehicle at 7:43am. A disturbance was reported in the 1000 block of Nix Rd at 7:46am.

At 9:06am there was an arrest on a 27 yr old male, picked up in the 500 block of E. Ave H on warrants for old infractions involving drug paraphernalia, expired vehicle registration, walking the wrong way, no insurance and failure to display a driver license. There was a harassment report in the 200 block of N. Key at 10:09am, a noise complaint in the 700 block of E. Ave G at 11:18am and a disturbance in the 1700 block of CTE at 11:29am.


The afternoon brought another arrest. This one was on Jesse Austin Madden, 17 of Kempner. He was charged at the police station with burglary of a motor vehicle at 1:50pm.There were criminal mischief complaints from the 900 block of W. Ave. C at 2:25pm and again in the 900 block of S. Key at 4:46pm. There was also an arrest at 3:40pm on a 17 yr old male in the 300 block of Hwy 281 S. He was charged with failure to identify and for giving false information.

In the evening a fraud was reported on Del Norte St. at 7:17pm.

Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa had a fight break out. A 17 yr old Lometa girl was charged with assault and interfering with public duties. An 18 yr old male, Anthonycia Harrison of Lometa, was charged with assault and resisting arrest.

In Kempner there was a disturbance, an accident, some animal complaints and suspicious person reports. Out in the county there was a civil matter, a hazmat call, an accident and a harassment call.

The Burn Ban in Lampasas Co. is lifted until Sunday at 7pm
