Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Saturday showed an early morning 12:04am arrest on a local 18 yr old female in the 1500 block of FM 580E on a municipal court warrant for being a minor in possession of tobacco. At 1:50am a suspicious person report came from the 1000 block of W. Ave E, then a disturbance in the 800 block of N. Key at 2:36am. At 4;10am another suspicious person report came from the 100 block of W. Ave A. At 9:47am a criminal trespass complaint came from the 500 block of S. Key, then a theft report from the 900 block of W. 2nd at 10:24 and a suspicious vehicle in the 3100 block of Hwy 183S at 10:37am.
At 11:10 officers made another municipal court warrant arrest. A 52 yr old man was picked up in the 2500 block of S. Key on old traffic warrants. There was criminal trespass in the 200 block of N. Key at 11:43pm.
Afternoon reports included a case of credit card abuse in the 100 block of Ohnmeiss at 12:24pm, a burglary of a vehicle report in the 200 block of E. 1st at 12:29 and a disturbance in the 300 block of E. 4th at 1:57pm. There was a reckless driver report in the 1700 block of CTE at 2:31pm and a shots-fired report in the 700 block of Dent St. at 6;12pm.
The evening included an 8:26pm suspicious person in the 100 block of Ohnmeiss and an 8:32pm arrest of a 27 yr old Cove woman in the 200 block of N. Key. She was charged with possession of marijuana under 2 oz. and possession of drug paraphernalia. A prowler was reported in the 1300 block of E. Ave. I at 10:44pm. There was also a minor accident. That took place in the 2500 block of N. Hwy 281at 11;54pm – no injuries.
Sunday’s Blotter showed a 1:43am suspicious vehicle report in the 1100 block of E. 4th, then an arrest at 9:26am on a 59 yr old homeless man in the 1500 block of S. Key, charged with criminal trespass.
The evening brought a suspicious act report in the 600 block of W. Ave. A at 8:35pm, a suspicious vehicle report in the 1100 block of E. Ave. F at 9:42pm and a suspicious person report in the 500 block of Gamel at 9:54pm.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with livestock issues and Kempner had several animal calls and one animal bite. There was also an alarm, shots fired and some civil matters. Out in the county there was an accident, a fish and game call, an explosives call, and in Cove city limits there were disturbances, trespassing and a shots-fired call.
The jail log shows a 31 yr old Lampasas man arrested for driving with an invalid license.
