Lampasas Police blotter for Wednesday showed a 10am forgery report in the 400 block of S. Pecan. At 10:37am there was an arrest in the 200 block of N. Key when a 24 yr old Burnet man was picked up on a possession of marijuana charge. At 11:03am there was a minor accident in the 200 block of S. Broad with no injuries.
At 12:34pm a possession of drug paraphernalia was reported in the 400 block of S. Key and harassment was reported in the 1300 block of CTE at 3;10pm. At 3:40pm a reckless driver was reported in the 1000 block of Hwy 183S. A suspicious vehicle report came from the 600 block of S. Spring at 6:31pm.
Evening reports included a disturbance in the 500 block of E. North at 7:34pm and a suspicious vehicle report came from the 1200 block of E. Ave. G at 8:16pm.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa had an accident and Kempner a criminal mischief call, a civil matter and a fish and game call. Out in the county, deputies worked civil matters, responded to an assault, harassment, some animal complaints and went into Cove city limits to word on a theft and a sex offense.
The Jail Log showed that, just before 4pm Wednesday, the county booked in 38 yr old Allen Kennemer of Lometa for aggravated assault with a weapon. In another incident a 25 yr old Stephenville man was arrested on a probation violation.
The Burn Ban has been lifted in Lampasas County. It is lifted until Sunday at 7pm.
