The Blotter


Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Tuesday showed early morning incidents.

At 12:07pm a 28 yr old Lampasas man was arrested in the 100 block of Ohnmeiss Dr. for driving with an invalid license. At 12:23 a suspicious vehicle was reported in the 100 block of PR 4032. There was another arrest at 12:46am - this one on a 41 yr old Copperas Cove woman in the 1200 block of E. 4th. She was picked up on 7 Lampasas City Court warrants for traffic incidents.  After that, at 12:51am, another suspicious vehicle was in the 200 block of S. Main.

A reckless driver was reported at 4:08am in the 500 block of S. Key and another suspicious vehicle in the 2200 block of Teton at 5:27am. There was a minor accident in the 1400 block of S. Key at 7;16am and a theft was reported in the 900 block of Campbell at 7:19. Another minor accident took place at 9:01am in the 800 block of N. Ridge and a criminal mischief was reported in the 200 block of E. Vine at 9:12. That was followed by a criminal trespass at 9:17am in the 700 block of S. Key.

There was another arrest at 10:02am when a 17 yr old Cedar park female was picked up in the 400 block of N. Key for possession of a PG1 controlled substance under a gram. One more morning report was on a suspicious person in the 500 block of N. Key at 10:28am.

The afternoon brought harassment in the 1700 block of Taylor at 1:11pm, a reckless driver on Hwy 281S at 2:06pm, a theft in the 600 block of 580E at 4;32pm, a criminal mischief at 5:04pm on S. Willis, another minor accident in the 800 block of E. Ave G at 5:19pm and a disturbance on Goldman Ln. at 5:24pm.

It was quiet in the evening.

The Sheriff’s Dept. reports that Lometa had a quiet day while Kempner had some disturbances and animal complaints. Out in the county, deputies responded to an alarm, worked an accident and a civil matter, a harassment call and an animal complaint.

The Jail Log shows the county booked in a 40 yr old Kempner man on two out of county charges.

The Burn Ban has been lifted in Lampasas Co. until Sunday at 7pm.
