The City of Lampasas will hold a Town Hall Meeting this evening at the Hostess House at 6 to 8pm.
Subjects for discussion include two which should bring plenty of interest and attendance, the deer population, their danger, and the fact that many citizens feed them. They’ll also discuss livestock being kept inside the city limits, and whether or not the City should ban the parking of RVs on City streets.
Also today, The Lometa ISD Board will meet in the school library at 6:30pm. On the agenda is an agreement with the Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service, budget amendments, reports and some personnel matters.
Saturday, Sept 22
The Indian Artifact, Gem, and Mineral Show takes place at the Lampasas County Livestock Show Barn 9am to 4pm. You can see lots of interesting stuff. There are about 50 vendors, etc. There is a $5 admission charge for the public.
Also taking place on Saturday is the Copperas Cove Food Truck Festival. It runs from 6 to 10pm in the Cove City Park with lots of food, beer and wine tents, live music, etc.
