Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Friday showed an arrest at 8:15am on a 24 yr old homeless man in the 600 block of Broad. He was charged with violating a protective order.

At 8:35am a disturbance report came from the 900 block of CTE and a disorderly conduct report in the 1700 block of CTE at 10:21am. Criminal trespass was reported in the 800 block of W. 1st at the scene of a minor accident at 11:37am. No injuries were reported from the crash.

The afternoon brought a runaway report in the 900 block of S. Broad at 12:58pm, then a suspicious vehicle report at 1:41pm in the 2100 block of Teton. Reckless drivers were reported in the 3pm hour on Hwy 281S and the 200 block of Naruna road shortly afterward. There was another minor accident at 4:34pm. It occurred in the 800 block of W. North with no injuries.

The evening brought a suspicious vehicle report in the 1200 block of E. Ave H at 7:07pm and a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Brown at 9:25pm.

The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa had a medical call, a civil matter and a suspicious person report. Kempner had a disturbance, a shots fired and animal and medical calls. Out in the county there was a harassment report, shots fired, a medical call and two crash reports. The deputies also went into Cove city limits on civil matters.

One of the accidents that took place on Friday was a single pickup truck pulling a trailer. The truck and trailer seem to have run off the road into the ditch on FM 580W west of the sports park, with no injuries and little damage to the rig.

The jail log shows an arrest on a 44 yr old Lampasas man on a bond surrender matter.

The Burn Ban is lifted until Sunday at 7pm. At that time it returns with no exceptions!
