Cattle Market Report

Lampasas Cattle Auction’s weekly sale took place here on Wednesday with 415 head coming through the auction ring. That was up a few from last week’s 410 head with the area still in the mud. The run was way behind last year’s 673.

Prices were way up with the prospects of moisture in Texas pastures and fields, $8-$10 higher on feeder cattle and $2-$5 higher on all classes of slaughter cattle.
