Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Monday showed an early morning 12:48am arrest on a 27 yr old Lampasas man. He was picked up in the 100 block of E. North on three municipal warrants for driving with no liability insurance and with an open container. In a later report at 10:20am, there was a theft in the Deblynn area.
Another arrest took place at 3:15pm when Michael Ray Pierce, 28 of Lampasas, was arrested at 301 E. 4th for possession of a PG1 controlled substance and for theft of a firearm.
At 6:20pm there was a minor accident in the 1000 block of E. 4th with no injuries. A suspicious person was reported in the 1400 block of W. 4th at 7:52pm.
Yet another arrest as a 17 yr old Lampasas male was arrested in the 400 block of Plum for possession of marijuana at 9:53pm.
The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa with a suspicious person, a disturbance and a fish and game matter. Kempner had a fraud case to investigate. Out in the county, deputies were dispatched on livestock issues, animal complaints, a fish and game call and went into Cove city limits to check out a suspicious person report.
The Burn Ban has been lifted until Sunday, 9/16 at 7pm.
