Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Saturday showed a 33 yr old Killeen man arrested for possession of marijuana at midnight Saturday night in the 1400 block of S. Key. At 12:18am a domestic disturbance report came from the 300 block of Brooks St. and a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Naruna Rd. and a suspicious person report in the 1100 block of S. Key were reported in the 1am hour. There was an assault report in the 900 block of N. Key at 8:35am and a disturbance at 9:14am in the 2700 block of Hwy 281S at 9:14am.
There was harassment in the 700 block of N. Broad at 2;35pm and a disturbance on Skyline at 6:52pm. There was an arrest at 7:45pm in the 100 block of W. 3rd where a 31 yr old Lampasas man was charged with possession of a PG2 controlled substance, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Yet another arrest came at 11:16pm in the 500 block of S. Howe when Lee Anthony Garcia, 23 of Lampasas was charged with theft of a firearm. A prowler was reported on Snell Dr. at 11:19pm
Sunday’s Blotter showed an arrest at 2:25am when 47 yr old Maria Delaluce Walker was arrested in the 1400 block of W. 4th on two municipal court warrants for assault causing bodily injury in family violence cases.
More assault reports came in the afternoon from the 800 block of N. Key. One of them at 2:26pm and another at 5:32pm. Then at 7:39pm in the 800 block of N. Key there was a major accident. That accident sent three people to the hospital, all thought to have minor injuries.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with a quiet weekend while Kempner worked one accident and went on a suicidal call. Out in the county deputies worked several accidents, a fight in progress, trespassing and they were called into the Cove city limits on an assault.
The jail log shows the county arrested a 34 yr old Cove woman for DWI with a child under 15 in the vehicle. A 61 yr old Parker, TX man was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a 70 yr old Lampasas man was charged on his 3rd or more DWI and an 18 yr old San Marcos male was charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor, possession of marijuana and no driver license.
Burnet County reports a big equipment theft: Hill Country Area Crime Stoppers, and the Burnet Co. Sheriff looking for information on a theft of Auger equipment from 110 County Road 406 at Hwy. 71 in Spicewood. It occurred sometime on September 6. Items taken were a Cat Hydraulic auger with skid steer attachment, a Belltec hydraulic with excavator attachment, a 6” Earth auger bit, a 12” rock auger bit and an 18” rock auger bit valued at over $10,000.00
