Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Friday showed an early morning arrest at 3:44am when a 20 yr old homeless male was picked up in the 400 block of E. 4th on 3 Lampasas Municipal Court warrants for possession of alcohol by a minor, drug paraphernalia, and walking on the roadway. After that, a disturbance report at 8:28am in the 600 block of N. Key. There was a theft report in the 1500 block of E. 3rd at 9:46pm and a criminal mischief in the 800 block of S. Spring at 9:56pm.
The afternoon brought a minor accident in the 2700 block of S. Hwy 281 at 3:42pm and a reckless driver on S. Key at 4:09pm. There was a disturbance in the 200 block of N. Key at 4:36pm and an assault by threat in the 300 block of E. 4th at 6:04pm.
At 7:33pm there was another minor accident in the 200 block of E. Ave A. At 7:33pm, a suspicious vehicle in the 100 block of E. Ave B, at 8:22pm, a shots fired report in Sunrise Hills at 10:39 and another suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of CTE at 11:10pm.
The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa had a reported identity theft, an assault and traffic stops. Kempner shows some welfare checks, suspicious activity, traffic stops and hazards and disturbance calls. Out in the county there were numerous traffic stops, an accident at 3:58pm, shots fired calls and some reckless driver reports.
The jail log shows a 37 yr old South Carolina man brought in on failure to appear, a 20 yr old Killen resident on a bond surrender and a 49 yr old Kempner man on charges of assault causing bodily injury to a family member and interference with an emergency call.
