The Blotter

Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Monday showed a 5:57am traffic control task at the railroad tracks on FM580, then a disturbance in the 900 block of E. 4th at 6:30am. There was a minor accident reported in the 1700 block of CTE with no injuries at 10:26am.

The afternoon brought harassment reported in the 400 block of N. Broad at 1:13pm, a report of theft at 2:19pm in the 1200 block of W. 6th St. and a criminal mischief report at the same time in the 1100 block of E. Ave. F.

In the evening there was an assault reported in the 1700 block of CTE but no arrests made. There was a suspicious male reported at the same address at 10:11pm. At 11:23pm a disturbance was reported in the area of Porter and W. Ave. E.

The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa with an accident to work, then a disturbance, a suspicious person and an animal complaint. Kempner officers went out on a suicidal call and an illegal burning complaint. Out in the county deputies were dispatched on an assault, a couple of fish and game calls and were dispatched to Copperas Cove on a civil matter, an animal complaint and a suicidal call.

The jail log shows the county arrested a 53 yr old Burnet man, Patrick Holbrook, for theft of property. They also picked up a 53 yr old Loraine, TX woman on a commitment charge.

The Burn Ban continues to be in force in Lampasas and all of its surrounding counties and Fire Chief Oestreich tells us it is likely to stay that way, even if we get a small shower.
