Lampasas Police blotter for Wednesday showed an assault by threat at 8:43am in the 1000 block of Crider Lane. Otherwise it was a quiet morning and a relatively quiet day.
The afternoon brought a couple of arrests. At 12;53pm a 53 yr old Lampasas man was arrested in the 300 block of N. Hackberry on municipal court warrants for residing at a residence without utilities, for public intoxication, and for failing to appear on those charges.
At 2:47pm a 57 yr old Lometa man was arrested in the 100 block of Water St. in San Saba, charged on a Lampasas Municipal Court warrant with having an open container in a vehicle.
There was a loud music complaint in the 100 block of E. Ave B at 5:23pm and a runaway was reported in the 100 block of S. Chestnut at 5:41pm.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa officers with a runaway report. Kempner officers had an animal complaint and livestock issues, along with a threats complaint. Out in the county the deputies had some civil matters, a fish and game call, animal complaints and one call that took them into Cove city limits.
No arrests were made by the county.
The Burn Ban is on in Lampasas, Coryell, Burnet, Bell and Mills Counties, though bans are lifted in San Saba and Hamilton County.
