Lampasas County Commissioners will meet in the courthouse downstairs courtroom at 9am Monday. They’ll talk about the Burn Ban, and after this week’s budget preparation work, the Proposed Tax Rate for 2018-19. There’s also a line item on a contract for court collection services with a collection agency firm, a policy clarification and of course the jail project.

Lampasas City Council will meet at 5:30pm for a workshop session and at 7pm for the regular session. Workshop includes an update on all C.O. projects, as well as a review of designs from Reliance Architecture, LLC for a new Water/Wastewater Building.
The regular session will include a public hearing on the new budget and tax rate for the 2018 tax rate that will be a result of the FY 2018-19 budget. There will also be a hearing on a replat of property at 802 E. Ave. B. In addition to hearings, there’ll be a vote on an SUP for property at 1201 E. North to allow an accessory dwelling in that residential area. Decisions to be made by Council include the possible hiring of the architect for the proposed new Water/Wastewater building. There will also be a decision on raising the rates for Water/Wastewater in Lampasas.
Lampasas ISD Board will meet on Monday at 6pm in a special called session that will feature a required public hearing on their proposed budget and tax rate for 2018-19. Also included will be a small consent agenda, some final 2017-18 budget amendments and other 2018-19 budget matters, including the general discussion on the proposed new FY 2018-19 budget.
