Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Monday showed a criminal trespass in the 800 block of N. Key at 6:09am that brought the arrest of a 58 yr old Lampasas man, Donald Wade Edmondson.
At 8:15am a burglary of a vehicle was reported on Hollywood Dr. A reckless driver report on CTE came at 8:43am and a burglary of a habitation was reported in the 300 block of N. Porter.
The afternoon saw a vehicle fire at Ohnmeiss and Hwy 281S at 12:47pm, then an arrest in Kempner on Lampasas Municipal Court warrants. A 47 yr old Kempner man was picked up at 1:27pm in the 200 block of Orchard in Kempner on 3 old traffic warrants.
Two accidents occurred in the 3pm hour, one at W. 3rd and Walnut and another in the 1400 block of S. Key. At 4:14pm a caller reported a fraud in the 600 block of N. Key, and a domestic disturbance was reported in the 800 block of N. Ridge at 6:06pm.
At 8:49pm there was another disturbance, this one in the 1400 block of W. 4th St.
The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa with only a fish and game call while over in Kempner there was a civil matter, a harassment call and an animal complaint. Out in the county, deputies responded to an alarm, worked two accidents and went into Cove city limits to settle a disturbance and respond to a trespassing call.
The Burn Ban continues to be in force in Lampasas County with renewed emphasis because of the hot-dry weather expected for at least the 7 day period beginning on Wednesday.
