Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Tuesday showed several calls and a number of arrests. At midnight Tuesday morning there was a suspicious vehicle reported in the 1200 block of Bridge, then at 12:10am there was an arrest of 45 yr old Christopher Charles Tisdale of Lampasas in the 900 block of CTE. He was charged with assault causing bodily injury-family violence. Other morning incidents included a minor accident in the 1700 block of CTE at 6:38am, a suspicious act report around E. North and Main at 10:16am and an 11:24am assault by threat report in the 200 block of W. Ave. E.
The afternoon brought another suspicious act report in the 1500 block of S. Key at 2:41pm, then an arrest at 3:23pm where a 26 yr old male, Patrick Kingery of Abilene, was charged in the 100 block of Ohnmeiss with theft of property under $2,500 with previous convictions. At 3:57pm a criminal trespass was reported in the 1000 block of Stanley St., then at 4:31pm a theft report came from the 800 block of N. Ridge. At 4:41pm a reckless driver was reported on N. Key and another criminal trespass report came from the 300 block of W. Ave. E at 5:29pm. There was a report of sexual assault on Broad St. at 6:12pm and a fraud reported in the 1600 block of E. Ave. H at 6:49pm.
The evening brought a possession of drug paraphernalia report in the 500 block of N. Key and a 26 yr old Midland man was arrested in the 1500 block of S. Key for possession of a PG1 controlled substance over 4 grams and under 200 grams.
Lampasas Co. Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa had a disturbance and Kempner worked a burglary, some animal complaints, and a suspicious person call. Out in the county deputies had a few civil matters and some livestock issues.
The Jail Log showed a 49 yr old James Baughtman was arrested for theft of property, DWI and unlawfully carrying a weapon. A 43 yr old Spearman woman was charged with possession of marijuana, a 39 yr old Lampasas man was charged with not making his child support payments and a 21 yr old Lampasas man was arrested on a parole violation.
Lampasas County Court announced that the jury trial set for Aug. 7th in County Court has been cancelled. Those with Jury Summons can disregard them.
