Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Thursday showed a total of 55 calls to service including a suspicious vehicle on the 2300 block of W. FM 580 at 2:33am. A suspicious act was also reported on Goldman Lane at 3:13 am. At 9:34 am there was a disturbance reported.

Half hour before lunchtime the Lampasas Police department handled a reckless driver call on the 2200 block of S. Hwy 281. At 11:38 am person was reported missing on the 300 block of E.
4th street. A minor accident occurred at 12:59 pm at 4th and Western In the afternoon at 3:29 pm there was a fraud reported on Snell Dr. And to wrap up the day a reckless driver was called in at the 700 block of Key Ave

Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with an animal complaint and was sent out to check out a suspicious person. Kempner worked a few civil matters, went out on a call of
threats, trespassing call and noise complaint. Out in the county, 28 Y/O Douglas Andrew Kelly was arrested for no driver’s license, possession of a controlled substance, unlawfully carrying a weapon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, 25 Y/O Marissa Anelle Stutes was charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawfully carrying a weapon. County deputies stayed busy with a handful of civil matters, worked a theft case, responded to a suicidal call, a call of threats and were sent out to Cove on a couple of animal bites.

The Burn Ban in Lampasas County is lifted until Monday, May 28th, at 7pm
