Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Tuesday showed a suspicious person report from the 500 block of N. Spring at 6:49am and a reckless driver on N. Hwy 183 at 7am. The afternoon brought a suspicious vehicle on Hwy 281S at 12:23pm and an accident took place in the 1700 block of CTE at 1:16pm. At least one person was injured in that accident. Other afternoon incidents included a reckless driver at 3:21pm on Hwy 183 S. and a suspicious vehicle in the 1700 block of E. 4th at 4:05pm, as well as a reckless driver in the 1700 block of CTE at
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with a civil matter, a burglary and some animal complaints. Kempner officers had a harassment call, a disturbance and served a warrant. Out in the county, Deputies worked a civil matter, a theft, a suspicious person and an animal complaint. The jail log shows that a 26 yr old Killeen man was arrested on bond surrenders, a 44 year old Lampasas man, Frederick Wayne Easter, was arrested for deadly conduct and discharging a firearm on an individual.
