Monday’s Early Voting Start

The County Election Office reports that 379 people showed up to vote yesterday in the first day of Early Voting for the May 22nd Runoff Elections. In addition, some 245 ballots by mail had come in. That indicates a likely large Election turnout here. The ballot for the Republican Primary Runoff Election is much bigger than it has been in recent memory in this county. There are runoffs for Lampasas County District Clerk, Precinct 2 County Commissioner, Lampasas County Judge and for District 54 Texas House of Representatives. Early Voting continues thru Friday, then Election Day is Tuesday, May 22nd.
