This year's lights were turned on Thanksgiving night and will remain on, dusk to dawn, through New Year's Day.
Vision Lampasas’ “Christmas on the Creek” effort invites the community to come to Brook Park tonight to become close up and personal with the lights and displays and shake hands with friends and neighbors.
“See what we’ve done along Sulphur Creek: beautifully lit trees and a nativity that is just right for the season. What's new this year? Sleigh rides, singing trees, Festive Forest of Fanciful Firs, sleigh rides, and lots of new lights!”
There’ll be music on the stage from 5-8pm. Santa will be in Santa’s Village, you can take a sleigh ride through the area for just $2. You can enjoy the “singing trees,” food from the Papa's Chick-Can food tent, hot chocolate or coffee from the Lampasas Chamber of Commerce booth and so much more.
Note: Bundle up for a cool evening, park your car in the Hostess House parking lot and take the stroll along the creek to the Brook Park area.
