Today: Rain! It is a certainty! Some of it could be heavy rain. The high should be around 49°, with a cold north wind at 10-15 mph and gusting to 20.
Tonight: The rain will continue overnight as the temperature drops to 40° behind the 15 mph north wind.
Saturday: The rain chances drop to 40%, with all of it thought to end by noon. The clouds will remain though, and it will be cold, with the high only about 43°. The N-NW wind will be about 15 mph and gusting to 20, making it difficult in some situations for Christmas decorations and displays.
Overnight, for the Christmas on the Creek event in Brook Park, the word is “bundle up.” It will be cold, with the temperature likely to be in the 30s after dark and dropping down to 34° in the early morning. Making it feel colder, wind will be N-NW at 15 mph and gusting to 20.
Rest of the weekend: Sunday will continue cold but the sun will come out and there could be a little drying out. The wind will continue N-NW at 10-15 mph and gusting and the high should be about 47°. Overnight, the low will drop into freezing territory, but it should be a light freeze at around 30°, just enough to freeze the wet spots and put frost on your windshield Monday morning.
Monday will bring sunshine and into the low to mid 50s in the afternoon, but it will drop back to the low 30s overnight. Slightly higher temps on Tuesday and Wednesday with a small rain chance mid-week.
