Basketball    (District 27-4A)

The Amazing Lady Badgers (13-3) are at home today against the Leander Founders team at 6pm.

The 9th Grade teams and the JV team will head to Georgetown today for another tournament.

Badger Boys Basketball (6-6) heads back to Hamilton today for the second round. They lost a close on Thursday and will go up against Bosqueville today in a 4pm game.

LMS Girls Basketball played Fredericksburg yesterday and the scoreboard saw the 7B winning 20-16 with outstanding play by Lucy Spencer, Bella Lindsey and Karissa Perez, though Lilee Hamil led in scoring with 6 points, followed by Allison Valdez and Reagan McDonald with 4.

The 7A lost their game 14-47 but coach reports say Jamie Ball had an awesome night, along with Kenzi Roberts.

The 8B won 31-17 with Aspen Pena as a standout in the game, turning in high points with 10, the rest of the scoring was by numerous team members.

The 8A team won 50-19, jumping in early and carrying the lead to the end. High scorer was Payton Tatum with 20, followed by Morgan Lovejoy with 11 and several other girls added on the rest.

LMS Boys Basketball played Fredericksburg on Thursday and the 8th graders came our on top, the 7th graders were not so lucky.

The 7A lost 44-47, the 7B lost 29-38, the 8B won their game 40-27, and the 8A won 48-21.

The teams will be in action today and Saturday at Ellison High in Killeen.
