Lampasas Police Dept. blotter shows a burglary of a motor vehicle report in the 700 block of W. 2nd at 6:21am. At 7:31am there was a reckless driver report on Hwy 281S and at 7:59am there was a burglary of a habitation report from the 1300 block of W. Ave. C. At 9:18am there was a theft report in the 400 block of S. Pecan.
The afternoon brought a disturbance in the 400 block of S. Live Oak at 12:07pm and a suspicious person in Brook Park at 2:22pm. At 3:08pm there was an arrest in that vicinity, in the 300 block of Hwy 281S, where a 20 yr old male was picked up on a municipal court warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia and another one for failure to appear on a possession of marijuana charge.
At 3:18pm there was suspicious activity reported in the 500 block of Naruna Rd. An assault was reported in the 900 block of S. Broad at 3:54pm and suspicious activity was reported on Del Norte St. at 4:53pm.
The evening saw suspicious person reports in the 100 block of Supple Dr. and in the 300 block of W. Ave. D.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with a quiet day and Kempner officers worked a theft case, a civil matter and an animal complaint. Out in the county, deputies were called in on a disturbance, a theft case and responded to an alarm.
The jail log shows the county arrested a 35 yr old Harker Heights woman on a bond surrender and a 53 yr old Bastrop man on a failure to appear charge.
A 62 yr old Kempner man was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest and a 59 yr old Lampasas man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
The Burn Ban is lifted until 7pm on Sunday, Dec. 2nd.
