Funeral Notices

Milton Saltzman, 75 of Lampasas, TX died December 18, 2018. He was born July 22, 1943 in Pampa, TX the son of James “Hates” Milton Saltzman and Ruby Dee (Hallman) Saltzman.

Milton was a graduate of Texas Tech University and a resident of Midland, TX where he worked in the oil industry for many years before relocating to Lampasas. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Trecia Saltzman, and was survived by his brother, Emmett Saltzman & wife Rhona of Saginaw, as well as his 3 children,  Sherry Lynn Harvin & husband Jackie of Borger, Angela Ewing & husband Jason of Mansfield, and Brian Saltzman & wife Kelli,  of Keller, along with 7 grandchildren & 1 great-grandchild.

A memorial graveside will be held January 5th at 2pm at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.

Otis Eugene Tyson, 89, of Hamilton, Texas died December 25, 2018 at his residence.

Otis was born November 13, 1929 in Hamilton County to Elbert Tyson and Mary Ella Kissell. Otis was a Lineman for Hamilton Electric Co-op, retiring after 40 years. He also served his country in the Korean War in the U.S. Army.

Otis is survived by his wife, Annie; sons, Otis Tyson Jr. and Jim Elbert Tyson and wife Farrah; daughters, Sharon Williams and husband Charles, Connie Wood and husband Charles and Nancy Wier and husband Doug; and by his sister, Rosella Roberson.

Otis enjoyed and loved all of his 9 grandchildren, including Bradley Tyson who resided in the Tyson residence since he was an infant, and his 6 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by brothers, J.W. Tyson, and Albert Tyson; and by sisters, Elva Hill, Violet Kemp and Frances Keller.

A graveside service will be held Saturday Dec. 29th at 2:30pm at Live Oak Cemetery near Hamilton.

A visitation will be from 1pm until service time in the Chapel at Live Oak Cemetery.
