Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Saturday showed a disturbance at 12:51am in the 700 block of Pecan, then at 4:18am there was an arrest in the 800 block of E. Ave. I. A 33 yr old local man was picked up for public intoxication and on city court warrants several traffic infractions. A reckless driver was reported in the 1100 block of Hwy 281N at 11:08am.
The evening brought a couple of suspicious person reports from the 500 block of N. Key and the 100 block of Ohnmeiss, both in the 6pm hour. The last call was for harassment on Snell Drive at 9:33pm.
Sunday’s Blotter showed a public intoxication report in the 2300 block of W. FM 580 at 12:11am and a loud music complaint in the 1100 block of Bridge St. at 12:56am. At 11:58am there was a suspicious person report from the 900 block of S. Key.
It was quiet in the afternoon but in the evening there was harassment in the 600 block of S. Main, reported at 8:55pm, than again at 10:11pm.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with a disturbance and an animal complaint and two Lometa men were arrested in separate incidents. Kempner officers responded to an alarm, a disturbance, and a civil matter.
Out in the county, deputies went out on a shots fired call, some civil matters, a suicidal call and multiple animal complaints.
The jail log shows a 40 yr old Lometa man on an out of county charge and resisting arrest. A 51 yr old Lometa man was booked for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.
44 yr old Edward William Manicom III of Lampasas was arrested on an assault charge and 29 yr old Eric James Morales of San Diego was arrested for aggravated assault with a weapon. (See feature story.)
The Burn Ban was lifted once again, going back on Sunday evening at 6pm.
