Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Tuesday showed disturbances in the 500 block of S. Willis at 7:09am, the same in the 1900 block of Hwy 281S at 8:43am, in the 100 block of N. Walnut at 1:22pm and in the 900 block of Gamel at 1:33pm.
There was one arrest made at 1:48pm in the 400 block of Brook St. on municipal warrants over old traffic infractions. Arrested was a 27 yr old local man.
An assault was reported in the 900 block of CTE at 3:13pm, then a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of CTE at 7:29 in the evening and another domestic disturbance in the 200 block of E. Vine at 8:54pm. The last disturbance of the stormy Christmas Day was in the 1300 block of CTE, this one at 10:55pm.
Other incidents of interest over the long holiday included last Saturday’s theft report from the 300 block of E. 2nd, a criminal mischief on Castleberry St. and a burglary of a habitation in the 1300 block of E. 4th. There was also an arrest on a 29 yr old Sherod Colt Townsend of Lampasas. He was charged with DWI, 2nd offense and for leaving the scene after striking an unattended vehicle at 12:36am Also arrested was a 51 yr old local man, picked up for unlawful interception, use, disclosure of a wire or electronic communication.
The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa with a runaway and Game Wardens were called over a fish and game matter. Kempner officers worked a theft case and a disturbance. Out in the county there was a fight in progress, a trespassing incident, an accident and a fireworks call.
The Burn Ban is lifted until Dec. 27th at 6pm.
