The Blotter

Lampasas Police Dept. blotter shows a reckless driver on N. Key at 8:54am and one minor accident in the 2700 block of Hwy 281S at 11:20am.

A local 45 yr old man was arrested at 12:31pm in the 1300 block of E. Ave. G for possession of drug para-phernalia and warrants for driving without a license and possession of marijuana.

Suspicious activity was reported in the 100 block of W. North at 1:07pm, a suspicious person was in the 900 block of Campbell at 1:30pm and a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of W. 2nd at 2:11pm. There was harassment in the 800 block of McLean at 3:02pm and a theft in the 800 block of E. Ave. B at 3:28. At 4:21 there was a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of E. Vine.

There was harassment in the 300 block of Sunrise Hills at 6:16pm, a reckless driver in the 2700 block of Hwy 281S and a shots fired call on old Georgetown Rd. at 8:50pm. Suspicious person reports came from the 300 block of E. Ave. B and the 1900 block of Hwy 183S around 11pm.   

Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with a quiet day. Kempner worked a theft case, an accident and an animal complaint. Out in the county, deputies went out on a trespassing call, an accident, some animal complaints and were sent into the Cove city limits to investigate thefts, a stolen vehicle and a burglary.  

The jail log shows the county arrested a 55 yr old Belton woman on a probation violation.

The Burn Ban has been lifted until December 27th at 6pm, However there is a Red-Flag-Warning for today.
