Lampasas Police Dept. blotter shows a burglary of a business in the 1000 block of S. Key at 7:41am.
There were some suspicious person/activity reports in the early afternoon. They occurred from 2:21 to 3:12pm in the 900 block of S. Broad, 300 block of N. Key, 500 block of N. Spring, 500 block of S. Willis and the 1300 block of W. Ave. B.
There was a reckless driver on E Hwy 190 at 4;50pm and another one on 190 at 6:37pm. There was a disturbance in the 600 block of N. Broad at 9:15pm and an assault in the 700 block of E. Ave. J at 10:03pm.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa with a quiet day, Kempner worked two civil matters, some animal complaints and an identity theft case. Out in the county, deputies worked on a fraud, harassment, some civil matters and went into Cove city limits on animal complaints.
The jail log shows the county arrested a 24 year old Cove man for possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and interfering with public duties.
The Burnet County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying the driver of the truck in this photo. The truck pictured was involved in two incidents of criminal mischief at the J&J Market in Briggs.
On 12/12/2018, just after midnight, the suspect intentionally backed the truck into one of the gas pumps at the business, damaging the pump. Previously, on 10/1/2018 at about 6:30 PM, the truck was intentionally backed into the store owner's vehicle which was parked at the store.
The truck in the photo is distinctive and appears to be a farm/ranch truck. It is believed to be in the Briggs area.
