If you do not have your health insurance already figured out and arranged for the coming year, please know that the December deadlines can affect you.
If you already have health insurance, you should review the company’s plans for 2019. You may need to change plans or even companies. See what is available and act before Dec. 15th.
If you are eligible for Medicare or Medicaid, see what the new year will bring for you. If you are not already insured, you should get on the internet and go to HealthCare.gov to find out what options are available to you.
If you don’t have internet available or feel you don’t understand enough about the insurance, go to a local insurance agent you trust to discuss the matter. Healthcare.Gov lists local agencies of State Farm and Diversified Insurance as having agents trained and required to honestly discuss and inform you of options you may have. Remember, Dec. 15th is the end of the open enrollment period.
