Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Monday showed a burglary of a habitation in the 100 block of N. Chestnut at 9:50am. Moments later a theft was reported from Old Georgetown Rd. at 9:51am, then a suspicious act report from the 800 block of N. Ridge at 10:12am.
A burglary of a motor vehicle report came from the 100 block of Ohnmeiss at 2:33pm. An assault report came from the 700 block of N. Pecan at 3:02pm. There was harassment in the 900 block of S. Key at 4:53pm and a suspicious act in the 1600 block of E. Ave G at 5:10pm.
A suspicious person was reported in the 300 block of E. 4th at 6:08pm and a theft report came from the 1400 block of S. Key at 11:03pm. Shortly afterward a suspicious vehicle was reported in the 200 block of N. Chestnut.
The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa with a theft case and Kempner had civil matters, identity theft and harassment to check on. Out in the county, deputies worked a civil matter, animal complaints, harassment and went into Copperas Cove on a theft and to track down a suspicious person.
The Jail Log showed a 27 yr old Copperas Cove man was jailed for driving with an invalid license.
The Burn Ban was lifted again Monday for one more week.
