Basketball    (District 27-4A)

The Lady Badgers (14-3) added yet another victory , beating the Leander Founders Academy 61-24 in front of the home crowd in Badger Gym. Their next outing will be a road trip against Austin Savio on Tuesday at 6:30pm.

The 9th Grade teams and the JV team were at the Georgetown Tournament where the:

JV beat Dripping Springs in a close one 34-31 but lost to Georgetown 24-43. They will join the Varsity team at Austin Savio on Tuesday with a 5:30pm start.

 9thA team lost to Georgetown 34-40 but beat Salado 66-23. They will join the Varsity on Tuesday at Savio with a 5:30pm start.

 9th B team beat East View 23-22 in a squeaker, but lost to Round Rock 16-37.

Badger Boys Basketball (8-6) headed back to Hamilton on Saturday for their third game in that tourney and handed Llano another defeat. The Badgers won the close one in regular time 60-58. They had built a solid lead that evaporated in the 4th quarter but they did hold on to claim the victory and the Consolation Championship.

The JV team(7-6) lost to Gatesville Saturday, 41-46, to finish in 4th place in the tournament. Leading the team in points was Elijah Stanley with 12 and Ryan Linney with 11.

The 9th grade team(9-4) beat Brownwood 52-36 on Saturday in their fight for a consolation championship. Leading the way was Quinn Pace with 17, Jett Bramon with 14 and Dax Brookerson with 14.

On Tuesday, 12/11, the Boys teams will be at home, hosting Georgetown Gateway with game tipoffs tentatively set for 5, 6:15 and 7:30pm.

Badger Wrestling

The teams were at Ellison High in Killeen on Friday and Saturday and finished with the JV Boys winning 2 of 4 dual team matches, then lost to Killeen Ellison 33-42 in the cross-pool round. The JV team matches saw boys Landon Dibattiste and Korie Menard take championships and several boys and girls team members won consolation matches.

On Wednesday, 12/12 the teams will be at Cedar Ridge for matches.
