”Lampasas County Cities are receiving checks for their part of the Texas Sales Tax that was collected in Lampasas businesses in September.
Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar predicts that the checks will be higher, as overall in Texas the checks averaged 5.6% higher than last year at this time. Specifically the actual numbers were:

Lometa’s Check was up 15.93% at $6,152
Goldthwaite’s Check was up a whopping 12.81% at $44,520
Losers this time
Kempner’s Check was down 16.01% at $8,360
Burnet’s Check was down 11.94% at $197,199
San Saba’s Check was also down 23% at $39,652
