November 16th is the date to put on your calendar if you have rural land that is under attack by offensive brush or weeds and want to learn more about controlling it. The Texas Ag Extension Service is putting on this workshop at the Lampasas County Annex Conference Room in Lampasas.
Many pastures are filled with Prickly Pear, Cedar, Agarita, or weeds that crowd out grasses. Extension Range Specialist James Jackson will speak on “Applied Research Projects in Lampasas Co. and on the Right Product for Control. Dow AgriSciences Product Updates will be discussed by Dillon DeMuth of the Dow AgriSciences Co. and Heath Lusty, Lampasas County Agent, will discuss CEU Requirements for holders of the Private Applicator Licenses.
This session will count for 3 Private Applicator CEU’s and must be signed up for by Nov. 15th at the local Extension office.
