Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Tuesday shows a quiet morning with a parking complaint reported on W. 1st at 11:52am, and another in the 1100 block of W. 3rd at 5pm. There was a call about harassment in the 100 block of S. Key at 6:12pm, and welfare concerns, one at W. North Ave & Walnut at 7:11pm, the other in the 100 block of Sunrise Hills at 7:50pm.
The Sheriff’s Dept. Blotter shows Lometa with a quiet day, other than an animal complaint. Kempner took a report of a runaway, and responded to an alarm.
Out in the County, deputies worked a civil matter, went out on a trespassing call, were sent out on multiple livestock issues and responded to Cove on a call of threats.
The Jail Log showed a 60 yr. old Austin man brought in on a failure to appear charge. Daniel Howard, 31, of Killeen was arrested for assault on a family member. 28 yr. old Maranda Allen of Kempner was detained for injury to a child/elderly, and a 26 yr. old Cove resident was charged with driving while license invalid with a previous conviction.
The Burn Ban was lifted again Monday for one more week.
