On Saturday, at the State Cross Country Race…

Lampasas had one entry in the State Meet, Taylor Moore. Here is Coach James Allison’s report:

“Taylor finished 78th out of 147 runners at the state cross country meet this past Saturday with a time of 12:56.  She had a phenomenal year this year.  She medaled (finishing in the top 15) in every race she ran this year.  She recorded her personal record at the region 4 meet in Corpus with a time of 11:40, which appears to be a school record for a girls cross country two mile race.  She will also finish her career as a 3 time state qualifier, four time regional qualifier, and the most decorated cross country runner we've had in the last 10 years.  So proud of her and what she has accomplished in her high school career.  In cross country she never knew anything but success making the post season all four years in cross country.  She is a great example of what hard work will do.”

Our congratulations to Taylor Moore for her entire season and seasons as a Badger athlete!
