The Blotter

Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Thursday shows an early morning suspicious person report on Perkins St. at 2:43am. It was quiet until 11:10am when a fraud was reported at the police station.

I n the afternoon a theft was reported in the 2700 block of Hwy 281S  at 1:38pm. Police at that location made a 2:03pm arrest on an 18 yr old male. They charged the young man with possession of marijuana in a drug free zone.

A suspicious person was reported in the 200 block of W. 2nd at 2:17pm and suspicious activity in the 1000 block of W. 4th at 3:27pm.

Criminal mischief was reported in the 900 block of E. 4th at 6:50pm. A suspicious person was reported in the 1700 block of CTE at 8:20pm and a criminal trespass was reported in the 900 block of E. Ave. D at 10:49pm.

Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa had a runaway case and Kempner worked civil matters, a theft and has a suspicious person report. Out in the county, deputies served a warrant, worked an accident, some civil matters and a runaway. They were sent into Cove city limits with some livestock issues.

There were no arrests made by county officers.

The Burn Ban in Lampasas Co. is lifted until Sunday at 7pm.
