Lampasas Police Dept. blotter for Saturday showed a minor accident in the 700 block of S. Key at 8:54am, a criminal mischief report in the 800 block of N. Ridge at 10:12am, and another minor accident in the 1700 block of CTE at 10:29am. No one was injured in either of the minor accidents.
The afternoon was quiet but the evening brought a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of N. Broad at 7:21pm, a disturbance in the 1900 block of Hwy 281 S. at 7:41pm, and yet another disturbance in the 1500 block of S. Key at 9:50pm. There was a burglary of a motor vehicle in the 1300 block of W. Ave. C at 10:55pm.
Sunday’s Blotter showed a disturbance in the 1500 block of S. Key at 4:22am and a burglary of a habitation in the 1300 block of W. Ave. B at 11:42am.
The afternoon brought a disturbance in the 1200 block of CTE, then another disturbance in the 800 block of E. Ave I at 2:34pm, then another disturbance was reported twice in the 1100 block of E. Ave F at around 3pm. That turned into an arrest when, at 3:16pm, 28 yr old Justin Eugene Warren of Lampasas was arrested there for public intoxication and for resisting arrest/transportation.
There was a suspicious act reported at the intersection of Westridge Pl. and Nix Road at 3:22pm, a shots-fired in the 500 block of N. Spring at 6:22pm.
The evening brought a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of S. Chestnut at 11pm and another domestic disturbance in the 100 block of N. Broad at 11:57pm.
Lampasas Sheriff’s Dept. blotter shows Lometa clearing an accident, Kempner with Civil Matters and a medical call.
Out in the County there were shots fired calls and noise complaints, along with a fish & game call.
There were no reports of arrests.
The Burn Ban was lifted again, for one more week, ending on Sunday at 6pm.
